Last Impulses – An Insight into the Late Work

The exhibition “Pablo Picasso – A Selection of Rare Etchings” presents a curated selection of rare etchings from a private collection. All works were printed before the official edition as Bon à tirer and H.C., and were created between 1968 and 1971 as part of the 347 and 156 series.

In his late years, Picasso created an impressive series of etchings that reflect personal experiences and central themes of his life. Particular focus is placed on the female body, sexuality, the artist’s identity, and the relationship between artist and model.
