It focuses on three pivotal exhibitions: \u201eGENCAY, BRTKA, FRANCHINI\u201c (Rome, 1964), \u201eFORME PRESENTI\u201c (Rome, 1965) and \u201eILLUMINATION\u201c (Trento, 1967), where the artist group of the same name made its debut. These exhibitions reflect a time of artistic awakening, marked by the search for new visual languages and a conscious departure from traditional concepts of art.<\/p>\n<p>The international movement known as <em>New Tendencies<\/em>, launched in Zagreb in 1961, reflected a shared intellectual framework centered on systemic experimentation in visual art. Artists from across the globe engaged in exploration of light, movement, geometric structures, and perceptual effects.
